Hey guys I am on day two of a three week trip starting with a drive across the country. I am just south of St. Louis at the moment helping my friend Alex move to LA. From there I am in California for 10 days before hitting DC for Thanksgiving and then heading to Miami for the post-Thanksgiving weekend. Should be a fun trip.

Normally I would put up the Road Trip blog while I was away but I have a few updates to get to before I do that. The first one is this post about Exxxotica, NJ which I will get to in a second. I also have to do an update about the final Wood Rocket gallery that went up a few days ago.

My third update is going to be about the 72 Oz Steak that I am going to attempt to eat tomorrow. In Amarillo, TX there is a restaurant called the Big Texan and they have this infamous steak eating contest. Last time I did Route 66 it was on my list of things I wanted to do but it didn’t work out. Tomorrow it’s fucking going down. I put up an absurdist Kickstarter to raise money to eat the steak and I raised twice as much in 24 hours so that was pretty amazing. Really the Kickstarter is just a pre-order for the new Driven By Boredom enamel buttons I made but don’t tell anyone that. You still have nearly a week to get on that but even if you don’t you can still watch me eat it tomorrow, just download the app Hype and follow drivenbyboredom so you know when I go live tomorrow.

Now, let’s get to these fucking Exxxotica photos.

I have covered so many Exxxotica conventions and most of them have been in Jersey. I have covered two in Chicago as well but this was my first time actually working for Exxxotica. I hit Exxxotica photographer/ friend of mine/ excellent naked photo taker Steve Prue up about getting a ride to New Jersey and he told me that he actually needed a second photographer for Friday. So that worked out pretty well.

Normally when I shoot an adult convention I sort of half ass it because there’s so much to shoot and it’s easy to get a handful of good shots and spend the rest of the time talking to porn babe friends. I mostly cover these things because it’s a good way to find new models and visit people I only see a few times a year, but because I was working this thing I actually had to work and I took over 1000 photos over two days so there is a massive amount of photos for you to look at.

I gotta get back on the road since I have to make it to Oklahoma City tonight so I am not gonna say much more about the convention but there’s a lot to look at and it’s pretty NSFW. Oh, and my Christmas Card is gonna be pretty great this year…

Lastly, before we get to the photos make sure you go vote today. Even if you don’t like the candidates it’s important to be part of democracy. People fight and die for something we take for granted so don’t and get out and vote. And if you live in California please Vote No on 60. It’s a measure designed to look like it’s protecting adult performers but in actuality is a way to harass the adult industry and get it out of the state. Read more here.

Part four of my five part collaboration with Wood Rocket is here and it’s a fun one! Lil Brown Eyes returns with a pool party shoot shot in Los Angeles and Bryan Gozzling’s place. If you haven’t been paying attention I shot 5 shoots for Wood Rocket as sort of a continuation of the Road Strip video series for them I did back in 2013. So far we have seen shoots from Lily LaBeau, Lucy Everleigh, April O’Neil and now Lil Brown Eyes. The final one is gonna feature not one but three girls so look for that soon!

This shoot with Lil Brown Eyes isn’t very well photographed. It was super bright out and the light was wildly harsh and I didn’t have anyone standing around with a bounce card or anything because let’s be honest I am barely a professional. That being said, LBE is fucking adorable, the pool is beautiful and how great do her hot pink heels go with that giant inflatable flamingo? Plus at the end of the party she cooked us food and the shots of her grilling corn are kinda fucking amazing thanks to her actually being in the shade a bit. I should also mention that she did her pseudo corpse paint make up like that because she kinda thought it would look hilarious with the sort of 80’s Penthouse vibe of the whole shoot. I wasn’t mad about it.

So all the photos are on Wood Rocket but I uploaded about 15 of them to this site just so there would be something on this site for the archives but clearly go to Wood Rocket instead of looking at them here. They are on Girls of DBB too but no reason to go there when you have them for free on Wood Rocket, BUT I should mention that there is a VERY NSFW shoot of LBE and her “daddy” Bryan Gozzling from the weekend I met them on Girls of DBB that is probably worth checking out if you are a fan of these photos.

When I was in Chicago for Exxxotica my friend Heather Vahn introduced me to her friend Jezabel Vessir (or is it Visser? Her Twitter has both names and that’s fucking confusing). We ran into each other a few times that day and in the middle of the night on the last day of Exxxotica we did a quick photoshoot in her hotel room.

You may have noticed I shoot in a lot of hotel rooms and clearly that is mostly for convenience given that when I am traveling or people are visiting NYC they make for easy locations. They are not always so fun to shoot in because hotel rooms tend to have horrible light and random fixtures and things that get in the way of otherwise decent shots. But something happened at some point in my life and I started to love the look of hotel rooms… especially the run down ones and stuff. The hotel in Chicago was pretty nice, but I still love the realness of shooting in a room with luggage on the floor and awful hotel room light.

Aside from the hotel room vibe, Jezabel is fucking stunning. Like she is so unreasonably pretty and she has this puppy dog look when she’s just looking at you which is actually kinda amazing and then she smiles and that’s amazing too and I don’t know but I really want to shoot her again, and again and again. Hopefully I will get another chance at Exxxotica New Jersey in November if someone can give me a ride there…

Part three of my collaboration with Wood Rocket was published over the weekend and it includes a ton of photos of April O’Neil. Everyone loves April so you should all be really happy about that. Just to recap: when I went on a west coast road trip this summer I shot five sets for Wood Rocket to help pay for the trip. I shot a sexy road trip web series with them called Road Strip a few years ago so we decided to continue with our on the road partnership. We started with Lily LaBeau and then Lucy Everleigh and now we reach the midway point with April!

These photos from April were all shot on the same day (well the same 24 hours at least) as we drove from LA to San Francisco. The first part of the set was shot along side of the Pacific Coast Highway. I actually thought we were going to have time to stop off at a few places like this but we kinda ran out of time. We did however find a really amazing cliff to shoot on. I actually don’t even remember where exactly it was except that it was somewhere between LA and San Louis Obispo. I know this because SLO is where we spent the first night of our two day road trip.

The legendary Madonna Inn is in San Louis Obispo and I was really excited when I found out it was on the way. We were actually just supposed to to LA to SF in one day until I realized that we could stop there. The place is insane and has tons of weird theme rooms and I really want to spend more time there. I kinda want to just live there actually. We got there pretty late so we didn’t get to explore much but the food was good and there was a hot tub and heated pool so not too mad. We got the Pioneer room which was pretty lame compared to some of the other crazy rooms but I guess that’s what you get when you book the cheapest room on Hotels.com. We did a quick shoot in the morning before we left and bought some souvenirs in the gift shop before heading to San Francisco.

The next day we took a bunch of random 35mm photos that I already posted but we didn’t shoot any proper digital photo sets or anything. We did manage to get locked out of my dominatrix friend’s dungeon that we were sleeping in. April is a wizard and she picked the lock and we actually got a few hours of sleep before we made our separate ways and I made my way up the coast.

I uploaded the public nudity photos to Driven By Boredom just so there would be content and of course they are on Girls of DBB too, but BOTH sets including the Madonna Inn stuff that has way more nudity are available completely for free on Wood Rocket so go look now!

The second part of my collaboration with Wood Rocket came out over the weekend. I did five shoots for them over my two week west coast road trip last summer and while I am uploading highlights from the sets, the full sets are available exclusively on Wood Rocket. The first set featured Lily LaBeau shot on Mt. Rainier in Washington state and the second set features two different quick shoots with Lucy Everleigh.

Lucy traveled with me for more than a week on my road trip so I took a ton of photos of her. You may have seen the 35mm shots I posted from the trip but I did several digital shoots with her. The first shoot we did was in a rose garden in Portland. My friend Chelsea took us there and fortunately it was raining so there weren’t a ton of people around. I am fairly certain we got caught but no one said anything. We did the whole shoot in 10 minutes so that was fun. The second shoot was in Hunny Daniels’ back yard in Washington. It wasn’t actually supposed to be a shoot. Lucy just wanted to climb a tree. I came outside and she was up there so I grabbed my camera and made her take off her shirt and we got some great photos.

I shot a number of other photos with Lucy along the way including a set with Hunny and another girl for Wood Rocket and one with three other girls in Portland. I also have two other Wood Rocket sets that you will probably get to see very soon. In the mean time, go look at the Lucy photos over there already!

If I had infinite money I would just travel around the world taking photos and hanging out at weird motels and roadside diners with naked models all the time. Unfortunately I am not so lucky, but fortunately I do have my friends over at Wood Rocket (NSFW!).

Wood Rocket is a porn site, but they do things differently and for some reason they enjoy my work even if it’s not particularly pornographic. Wood Rocket makes hilarious original porn parodies that you have probably have seen unless you don’t have the internet. They also make other weird not-so-pornographic videos and things like porn stars reading books and answering absurd questions and a bunch of other fun stuff you guys have probably seen because so much of what they do goes viral. Also everything on their site is free and hopefully they are the future of porn because I am a big fan of everything they do.

A few years ago when they launched I was going on my epic Route 66 road trip and they helped pay for the trip and in exchange I shot a web series for them called Road Strip. It was sadly not one of the things that went viral but it was a lot of fun to do and when I was going on my west coast road trip back in June I asked them if they wanted to do something with me again and they said yes.

Wood Rocket wanted to do more photo galleries and they asked me for five galleries from my road trip. I ended up shooting Lil Brown Eyes in LA, April O’Neil at the Madonna Inn, Lucy Everleigh in Portland, Lucy and two other babes in Seattle and lastly Lily LaBeau on the side of Mt. Rainer. Wood Rocket just posted the first of the galleries and they saved the best for first or something.

Shooting Lily on Mt. Rainier was so cool and it was thanks to Kimberly Kane who had the idea and drove us up there before getting us lost and forcing me to drive. We stopped off at a little overlook thing and escaped into the forest. We were only about 50 feet from the road but it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. I really love these photos and I am glad Wood Rocket posted them first because it’s a perfect introduction to the collaboration.

I take a lot of photos. Many of those photos are of naked women because 1) It’s fun 2) It seems to get me a lot of Instagram followers and 3) you creepy bastards don’t seem to care about anything else I shoot. Sometimes I shoot a ton of great photos and am really psyched about them and can’t wait to get them up and other times I am just hanging out with a friend and we take a handful of photos and then I sort of forget about them and never end up doing anything with them.

Today I bring you three different sets that all have some nice shots but don’t really need to be their own post. I have so many girl galleries to get to and this seemed like a great way to get up a bunch of stuff that’s just sitting around my hard drives.

First up we have a shoot I did with Tuesday Cross that I found about a week ago. I had totally forgotten about this mini set that Tuesday and I shot several years ago. I have known Tuesday for a really long time and we’ve actually never done a proper photo shoot but I randomly ran into her in LA that happened to be right near my creepy motel room and so we took a handful of topless photos before she went home. I completely forgot about them but Tuesday is one of the coolest people I know so I wanted to get them up. I posted them on Girls of Driven By Boredom a few day ago but now you can lurk them as well.

The second shoot I have for you is a two for one sort of deal. If you remember my shoot with Kate you will remember that 1) she is a babe and 2) she has a rad apartment. I even shot Finch Linden on her roof once! She also happens to have a really cute roommate that happens to be named Katie which is fucking confusing but kinda cool. They DJ together as 2 Katies which is a pretty good idea. Anyway, I went over to hang out with them and shoot some photos and I mostly was trying to shoot some 35mm film so I shot a bunch of black and white stuff of them and killed the rest of my roll of color film before I got on a flight before my road trip back in June. Shooting digital was an afterthought. I shot a few photos of them inside and then we went to their great roof but it was too windy to get anything good so we just sort of called it a day.

Katie recently asked me to send her some photos which reminded me to edit this set and I sort of forgot that it wasn’t a full shoot. That’s when I got the idea to do this multi-babe post. Last night I uploaded the whole set to Girls of DBB and because I want to give subscribers bonus content I also uploaded a bunch of the 35mm stuff I shot so if you have an account you should check that stuff out for sure. Much of it is unpublished even if some has ended up on my Tumblr. But yeah, these girls are babes and I hope to shoot more of them soon or at least just hang out at their apartment until my cat allergies get the best of me.

Lastly I got some photos of one of my favorite people, Heather Vahn. Heather is like the most motivated person I know and she looks amazing naked and she is really fun to hang out with. She also rescued me once when I really needed a place to crash which was really rad of her and she also has hot friends and got me laid once. So yeah, Heather fucking rules.

A while back Heather was in NYC and had a cool hotel room and I asked her if I could come try out this cheap little ring flash I bought. Turns out it’s fucking garbage and I took a ton of photos of her that looked really cool on my screen but were actually pretty awful. The light was totally inconsistent, it made Heather squint a lot and the focus was soft in a lot of photos which is probably my fault but I am gonna blame it on the light. I went through the photos last night after I decided to do this three gallery post because three is a good number for internet posts and because I am not happy enough for these to be their own post.

That being said Heather is really fucking hot and you should look at these photos cause they are sexy as fuck anyway. I bought the ring flash cause it gives this creepy homemade porn vibe so even if the photos aren’t technically great they are still hot. I also threw these up on Girls of DBB last night with some bonus extra dirty shots because 1) I am heroic and 2) I want your money. I should probably split this into two updates but I am not going to. I am going to give you way too many photos to look at and you should absolutely look at all of them because some of them are actually pretty good and the other ones at least are fairly interesting.

When we last left my West Coast Road trip I had abandoned April O’Neil in San Francisco and had driven to SFO airport and had picked up Lucy Everleigh. Over the next 9 days I would have to deal with Lucy’s love of ska and emo music, but also she was naked most of the time we were together so it’s hard to complain too much.

We immediately got the fuck out of San Francisco and started driving north as fast as possible Portland is 10 hours away and there was fun to be had there so we needed to get pretty close the first day. We made it within a couple hours of Portland with quick stops in Weed, CA and an actual store that sells weed on the Oregon/ CA border.

Lucy smokes a good bit and had to leave her weed at home but once you hit Oregon you can just walk into a store and buy it. Lucy stopped off and got whatever reasonable thing she got and I had a conversation with the person behind the counter about what would help me sleep. I think smoking is pretty boring but I suck at sleep and the few times in my life I have taken edibles they worked pretty well for sleep. I ended up with some tiny candy that the woman said would do the trick.

We got to a motel in the middle of nowhere and because it was after 10pm everything was closed. We ordered Domino’s because that was the only food option and Lucy smoked and I ate the candy. By the time the food showed up I was barely human and essentially was fucking helpless. Lucy and I have hung out a few times but it was probably not the best look to devolve into a baby the first time we spent more than a couple hours together. Lucy had a super early flight and went to bed right after dinner, but I woke her up to talk about the bread sticks. “What if bread were butter?” I asked. It was an interesting first night.

The next day we went to Portland and met up with my friend Chelsea who got a Driven By Boredom tattoo the day after we met because she is both insane and amazing. She took us to some sort of rose garden where we shot Lucy naked in public. Those photos are gonna be on Wood Rocket (NSFW) soon but I am including a few 35mm shots in this gallery. That night we met up with legendary alt model Apneatic (aka Amanda) who have known online for years but never met. Her and her boyfriend took us to a Tiki Bar where they were doing karaoke and our waiter was wearing a single fake tattoo sleeve. I wanted to murder them for it, but they made up for it the next day.

In the morning we met up with some cam girl friends of Lucy’s named Ivy Aura and Artemis Moon for brunch. I had made plans to shoot Amanda in the woods after brunch and Ivy and Artemis decided they wanted to come too. I shot all four girls in the woods and it was awesome and we didn’t get attacked by any wild animals. It was great.

Ivy and Artemis left and for some reason Amanda and her boyfriend thought it would be a good idea to go to an hourly rate hot tub which is an actual thing. Aside from it being insanely creepy it was also kinda amazing and I took some fun photos of Amanda and Lucy in the tub. Oh and then we drove to Seattle.

We got to Seattle pretty late and crashed with our mutual friend, cam girl Hunny Daniels. The next morning we went into the city and got lunch with my friend Steak who is amazing and runs the clothing brand Teenage. It was pride week and all the waiters were dressed as Rocky Horror characters and we got Frank N. Furter so clearly we got the best waiter.

After that Lucy, Hunny and I met up with my friend Romance and did a photo shoot in this mildly fancy hotel room we rented. Apparently hotels are cheap as fuck in the Seattle suburbs. We also got a bunch of mediocre seafood and had an awkward hotel party. Good times.

The next day Lucy and Hunny did their own thing and I went and met up with my favorite ex-girlfriend Kimberly Kane. She moved right outside of Seattle and has this new weird suburban life I had to check out and I got to play with her dog for two days which is pretty much the main reason I drove to Seattle in the first place.

The next day KK and I met up with Lily LaBeau who also lives in the Seattle area and we hiked (okay, mostly we just drove) Mt. Rainier. It was fucking beautiful and I almost didn’t mind that I didn’t get cell phone reception even though I complained the whole time. Lily and I did a fucking amazing shoot that will be coming to Wood Rocket soon too. Again I included a few 35mm outtakes from the shoot in this gallery but most of the good stuff I am saving for Wood Rocket.

The next morning I picked up Lucy and we made our journey back down the coast. We hit Portland and got matching bath tub tattoos because we couldn’t think of anything dumber. We met up with Ivy and Amanda’s boyfriend and he took us to some insane castle restaurant or something. Oh, and at some point on the trip we met up with another cam girl friend of Lucy’s named Hayli but I totally forgot about that until I just looked at all the photos.

Lucy and my last stop before we both flew out of San Francisco was a random hotel in the middle of fucking nowhere. I only mention it because it was next door to this little diner and we had to check in at the diner. The guy who checked us in was also the only cook and the only waiter and as far as we could tell the only employee of either establishment. It seemed like we were the only people on our floor of the hotel so we shot some naked photos in the hallway and of course did a bath tub photo shoot with Lucy’s bathtub tattoo.

Anyway, this whole trip was fucking amazing and I could write another 10,000 words about it but I am just gonna shut the fuck up and let you look at pictures. It was an awesome two weeks and was really great to get to spend so much time hanging out with April and Lucy and seeing old friends and meeting new ones and all that shit. I shot a bunch of great content for Wood Rocket and a ton of 35mm stuff for myself and I even got a couple digital shoots coming soon too.

I love fucking road trips and I just need to find how to get paid to go on them all the time because this stuff is all I want to do and I always get the best photos from them. Big thanks to Wood Rocket for sponsoring the trip. Now go look at the photos already.

So this has been a weird week for me. I got back from vacation and I was slowly getting my life together between getting ready for my band’s second show and a couple Tinder dates. But then the show got canceled and I managed to get unreasonably sick. I haven’t really left my apartment since Sunday. It’s been great. On top of that I dropped off my camera to get fixed (the top screen cracked) and they told me it would be 3-5 days and now it’s going to be a month cause of parts they need. I am going to get my camera back but I haven’t done it yet cause I am slowly dying.

Long story short is I haven’t even taken a photo a week and I haven’t put on pants in nearly as long. I am sick of being useless so I figured it was time to get some damn photos up and what better than the road trip stuff I shot at the beginning of all my trips that no doubt contributed to my downfall.

My west coast road trip started with five days in LA but that is sort of cheating so we are going just going to focus on the LA to Seattle and back part of the trip. Part one features the two days I spent with the amazing April O’Neil. She’s both one of my favorite models to shoot and really fun to hang out with so she seemed perfect for this sort of thing. I actually tried to get her involved in my epic Route 66 trip but it didn’t work out, but we did go on a pretty epic day trip with Shay Laren to Murphy’s Ranch.

April and I left LA and headed towards San Francisco. The plan was to make it to San Louis Obispo and the epic Madonna Inn via the Pacific Coast Highway. It didn’t seem like it was going to take very long but when you are road tripping and taking photos and buying amazing coats it takes a lot longer than expected and we got to the Madonna Inn pretty late. Still, the Madonna Inn was so fucking epic and we got to hot tub and watch people take line dancing classes and hang out with really loud frogs. We also did a pretty great photo shoot that is gonna one day end up on WoodRocket.

The next day we woke up made our trek to San Francisco which is a much longer drive. We unfortunately didn’t get to spend quite as much time on the PCH but we did get to do stuff like hang out on a giant fucking artichoke and see a huge patriotic clam and two different whales. Oh and there was some sort of egg vending machine and we hung out a bunch in Santa Cruz and April made me play pinball for an hour which I thought was a lot but then once we got to SF she made me play pinball for maybe 4 more hours and now I want to dedicate my life to the sport which should clearly be in the fucking Olympics. WHY IS PINBALL NOT IN THE OLYMPICS?

The second, and sadly final, night of our trip was spent sleeping in January Seraph’s dungeon. It was not nearly as scary as that sounds and it was honestly quite cozy, but she didn’t tell us that we only had a key to the top lock and I managed to lock the bottom lock and we got locked out at 4am and January was asleep so we got stuck and I thought I was going to go insane but then April picked the god damn lock because she’s the best human and we got a few hours of sleep before I had to go pick up Lucy Everleigh at the airport so she could join me for part two of this adventure coming soon!

So in this gallery that you are about to look at is a bunch of 35mm shots of April and the stuff we saw. There isn’t that much nudity actually but there is some. Hopefully you will dig it anyway. Sadly an entire roll of black and white film was lost and half of that was of April and that kinda kills me. But I also shot some digital stuff that is not in this gallery. Half of that digital stuff is the Madonna Inn shoot that will be up on Wood Rocket, the other half is going to be an exclusive set just on Girls of Driven By Boredom. It just seemed like the move to make. There are also a few (3) 35mm shots that are exclusive to Girls of DBB too. So like get on that shit.
