I just wanted to remind everyone to show up to Trash tonight at 40C. (40 Ave C between 3rd and 4th).  There will be a big photos slide show which has many of you in it.  I am totally excited.  Plus there is a movie about me losing my virginity 10 years ago which I have seen none of, but have heard very weird things about.  “You can’t put this on YouTube.  They would be okay with the violence but they might have a problem with the penetration and the blow jobs.”   Point of note: My penis was not involved in the making of the film.

So roughly 10 years ago I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life and I had sex for the fist time… with my best friends girlfriend.  It was a precursor to all the misery that sex would bring me over the next decade.  To celebrate this most horrific of occasions I am hosting Trash tomorrow.  For those of you who have not been to Trash recently, or ever, it is located at 40C… which is coincidently located at 40 Ave C.  Which is at the corner of C and 3rd St.  The new spot is great and Trash is a lot more fun now that it has been of late.

Anyway, I will be showing the best images from the last year of my photoblogging… and with over 800 images in the slide show you are probably in one of them.  On top of that I will be showing a video interview of me telling the story of my lost virginity as well as some random discussion of bad sex stories over the last 10 years.  Some how the 2 hour interview I did was edited down into  a minute or two.  I have not seen it, but I am pretty sure it involves clips of hard core pornography over the Benny Hill theme.

There are three parties this week that I am pretty excited about. Tomorrow you have your High Voltage which is always fun, but I am back on the flyer for some reason, so it will be extra fun. Friday is my 10th year anniversary party for me losing my virginity at Trash. You will here more about this soon, but here is the flyer for now. And lastly the always weird Rated X on Saturday featuring one of my photos on the flyer, so like, that makes me happy. Anyway, hopefully I will see you at all three, but if I miss you on Friday I am going to cry.

So these kids who do the Carnival party in Orlando invited me down to shoot their party today. I was in town Monday and yesterday too though so they took me out. They took me to this party Crush which was pretty fun. They let 18 year old kids in so I got to flirt with some cute underage girls. I think more of that will happy on Wednesday. From what I here there is some Crush Vs. Carnival animosity, but the kids who seemed to be throwing down the hardest at Crush were Carnival kids. And they brought me to the party… so I guess it is all good.

I noticed a few big differences between the scene here and in New York. The first is that the parties don’t get bar money, so everything is about the cover charge, so getting guest listed at the party is a hassle. I also noticed that people seem to be all about supporting the scene, which I was all about when I lived in DC and VA. As soon as I moved to NYC, I didn’t care any more. Why support the scene in NYC, it’s fucking New York. There are like 50 parties a night in New York. Here they get one a night, and instead of people being competitive about a certain night, people are competitive about every day of the week. People told me that Thursday night was the best night, and then other people were telling me that Thursdays were bullshit and fuck Tuesdays because it is all about Monday or whatever. If these kids all got together they could all put in on DJ’s plane fare and get DJs to do three nights in a row so it is worth them to come to town. But what the fuck do I know. I do know that they have some cool photogs here.

This auto update is not exactly exciting, but totally important.  Trash is like my favorite party and I shoot it all the time.  I was going to host this tonight but I had to go to Miami.  I am going to be hosing and doing some sort of video photo booth in the future.  It might be late April though… Anyway, Trash moved to a club called 40C and you need to come out and show support for the new party.  Make this fun.  40C is at 40 Ave. C  It’s basically on the corner of  C  and  3rd St.

Anyway, Joanna Angel will be there and mostly naked and there will be some fun times.  A bunch of people I like are hosting and things.  Fun fun.  Be there.

I am going to Miami tomorrow.  Here is where I am going to be this weekend.  Honestly I don’t even know what I am going to be shooting exactly.  I see that LNP is sponsoring one of the parties, so I assume I will be taking the product shots or gifting stuff again.  Honestly I was told that I am getting cash when I get there and free plane tickets, so fuck it, I am on the move.  Here are the fliers, motherfucker.

I completely forgot about that fact that I agreed to host High Voltage on Wednesday at Annex. I just saw the flier and now I have to spend tomorrow making sure people show up! DJ Jess is DJing which will be fun. It should be a blast. I was going to do a photo booth or a video booth or something fun, but I think I am out of time to do that so let’s just party forever. Come hang out with me and drink my free vodka.

I am going to the South By Southwest Music Conference today.  I will be there until basically Tuesday because of how expensive it was to fly out on Sunday.  I am going to be shooting the Dim Mak/ BPM Magazine/ Magnum PR parties at the Sansa Playground.  I have no idea if I will be able to get anyone in to this party, but if you are going to be at SXSW email me at igor(at)drivenbyboredom.com because I am going to be free Friday and Saturday nights as well as all day Sunday and I want some fun stuff to do that does not require a badge/wristband.   I need to party forever.

As far as what this all means to my site… I can almost assure you that there will be no updates on Thrusday as I am going to be working a 14 hour say.  Friday and Saturday I may have some time to update and depending on where I am staying hopefully I can get some photos up Sunday.  I would say that things are going to be VERY slow around here until I get back, but I will do my best to keep you updated and full of wonderful content.
