So I have to plug this event.  On Thursday Mishka is releasing their 2010 calendar.  This brings about a meeting of all sorts of people I love. Let’s start with Mishka.  Since I spend $0 a year on clothes (Not including shoes…) most of my wardrobe consists of Mishka stuff.  I shot a look book for them a while back and now they give me all the eyeball related garb I could ever want.  I really dig their clothes and the stuff they are doing, like the Creepy Touch web series that just finished starring my man Toilet Cobra.

Next you have the photographer, the lovely Ellen Stagg.  If you were to design the perfect girl for me she would pretty closely resemble Ellen. She is super hot, totally insane and an awesome photographer. Plus she runs her own porn site. How can you not love that.

Thirdly, you have the naked girls in the calendar. The girls are hand selected from Ellen’s stable of alt chicks an adult models including Suicide Girls, Burning Angels and Gods Girls. My home girl Joanna Angel is on the cover and my ex Nicole is in there somewhere I think.  Nicole actually happens to be October of the 2009 calendar so as I type this her nipples and her are staring back at me. It also has Justine Joli who might be the most adorable thing on Earth.  The only time I met her we talked for less than five minutes and still managed to graphically discus our sex lives.

Oh, the other awesome thing about this party?  It is two blocks away from my house in Southside Williamsburg.  You bitches are gonna have to get on the J train if you want to party with porn stars. The last time Teddy Blanks played CMJ he was fronting the Gaskets and they were opening for a huge band at the Blender Theater. Well, Blender is out of business and so are the Gaskets, but Teddy is kicking ass on his own and he is playing a CMJ showcase tomorrow. Pete’s Candy Store is just slightly smaller than the Blender Theater, but I think it will be a good time just the same. I think you should come out. He plays at pretty much exactly 11 Tuesday night. Tonight I am getting some of that corporate money shooting an event for Roxy Cottontail and the Pepsi DJ Collective. Diplo is headlining and DJ Drama and Eli Escobar are DJing as well.  Maluca is performing and you should check her out while you can… I got a feeling she is going to blow up soon.  I have no idea if I can get anyone in so don’t ask me about it. Let’s start by saying that things are slow here right now due to the fact that I am suddenly and old man. In the last week I have hurt my back, my knee and I am very slightly sick. I have not been sleeping well and I am trying to get take it easy a bit. I know I have been slacking off on the party pictures, but it should pick up with Fashion Week and such, plus I have a few events coming up I am excited about. Anyway, on to more important things:

Teddy Blanks show at the Annex got canceled on Monday so a friend of his asked him to join their bill at CoCo66 in Greenpoint. The show starts at 1030. I would guess Teddy will play between 1130 and midnight. Now the important thing about this show is that it is completely free. This is Teddy’s first time playing a free show in the city, so I expect some of you kids to come out. For more information, the Facebook invite is here and the flyer is posted below. See you friday.

High Voltage, one of my favorite parties ever, is back!  It returns to the Annex, free of charge as always, this Saturday night.  The first night was actually last weekend, but I was out of town.  This week I am hosting and it should be a blast.  I will probably have some booze for you and we can throw down like its 2007.  I am pretty excited about it.  Added to your normal Dimitri & Prince Terrence line up is my boy Roc One who will be the new resident DJ.  Also special guest this Saturday only is Huggs.  Glitter Kids are co-hosting with me and it  should be a lot of fun.  Open Svedka bar at 11pm. Hey guys, I know how you guys hate spending money and all, but Teddy Blanks is playing again tonight and it should be a blast.  I would really like to see you guys out there.  I am leaving for a week or so tonight and I will miss you all. Come say goodbye.

Speaking of, this site is going to be slow moving for the time that I am out of town. I am going fishing with 3 of my oldest and dearest friends for 4 days then off to DC/VA for a day or two and then I might hit up Philly for a night or something.  It is sort of up in the air but I borrowed a car, and I need some relaxation and/or adventure. I will try to update once a day at least, but I can’t promise anything.  I have some photo shoots tentatively set up with some cute girls, so if that happens, there might be some fun stuff up next week.

Two of my favorite organizations have teamed up. Ninjasonik is one of the only remaining bands that I actually enjoy going to see and I pretty much wear at least one article of Mishka clothing at all times (they keep giving me free clothes when mine get dirty). Mishka’s new mixtape is by Darth Baño another alias of Ninjasonik’s TelliGramz AKA Bathroomsexxx. The Mix Tape features 17 tracks produced by a variety of people including Major Lazer, Curses and Ninjasonik’s DJ Teenwolf. The Mix also features a ton of guest performers like Spank Rock, Blaqstarr, Maggie Horn, Theophilus London, Hollywood Holt, The Death Set and Johnny “Body Bag” Nelson. The album is pretty damn fun and I think the release party tonight might be even more fun. I will be at Happy Endings tonight taking photos of the “Poppin’ Bottles, Gettin’ Pregnant” party for the Village Voice so come by and say “hi”. I think it will be out of control.

So tomorrow I have 4 pieces in a mixed medium art show at the McKibben lofts.   I am pretty much just a photographer so mixed media is not my bag, but I had fun at Lowbrow Society For the Arts last show so I had to come up with something.  I reached out to old school NYC graffiti legend DAZE and convinced him to paint on some of my photos. I still haven’t seen what they look like but I am pretty excited.  He said they came out well.  They are 4 14″x20″ prints of naked girls with food.  That’s pretty much all I can tell you.  You will have to come out to see them. The art is just from 7 1o 11 and then we take the stuff off the wall and bands play and things.  There should be some cool stuff and some debauchery.  It is basically a house party so anything goes…  Hope to see you out…
