My very first stop on my recent trip to LA was to Carter Cruise’s place. She happens to live right by the airport but I was psyched to see her. She’s one of my favorite humans and I love taking her photo as you can tell from all the shoots we have done in the past. She also has a rad roommate and amazing place with a pool that I was deeply upset I didn’t get to swim in because of course it was fucking cold when I was in LA for some dumb reason.

We started the shoot outside and she rolled a joint naked and I took photos and that’s pretty much my ideal photo shoot always. Very chill, doing whatever you’d be doing normally, but also naked. Speaking of naked, last time I shot Carter the only place you could see the full nudes was on Girls of DBB, but Carter just launched her OnlyFans a couple months ago so she’s getting naked  again which is exciting for everyone. Oh, and speaking of OnlyFans I got a minute long video of her smoking and being awkward and shaking her ass and just generally being hot and naked and it’s going on my OnlyFans as soon as I hit send on this post so go sign up for my OnlyFans too. Just think of it as intermittent fasting. 

I just spent 2 paragraphs promoting shit instead of telling you more things about the shoot so let’s talk about how we went inside after she smoked and shot in her kitchen because if there’s one thing I love it’s shooting people in their kitchen. I have no fucking idea why but I just love it even when the light sucks like it did in this case. Carter has a bunch of roommates so she’s only topless in these but she did cook some food, and I feel like I need to point out that the eggs she made for herself looked a lot better than the one she cooked for photos. 

Lastly, this wasn’t the only time I hung out with Carter on this trip, a few days later she was doing a photo shoot for her and her roommate Natalie’s brand LA After Dark at my old pal Kirill’s place and I went over there and hung out. I did a shoot of Natalie in a very tiny bikini over there that I am sure I will post one day and took some random 35mm photos from the day that you can check out on Kirill’s site or check out all my LA 35mm pics on Girls of DBB.

Okay, I am done rambling now. Most of the highlights below are from the kitchen because the outdoor ones were all nude but are the better photos so make sure you click through to the actual gallery to see those.

Last week I went to Cleveland for the NFL Draft. I have been to the NFL Draft a weird amount of times for someone who doesn’t actually enjoy the Draft. Don’t get me wrong, I love football, I just don’t really watch college football so I don’t really know who the players being drafted are and I don’t like learning about them because if they go to a team I don’t like I don’t want to be attached. It’s also generally a fairly boring experience to watch someone read off names once every 15 minutes. So why have I been so many times? Did I mention I love football?

In 2008 the Dolphins had the #1 pick in the Draft and I had made a few friends who were Dolphins fans in NYC and we camped out overnight to see the Draft at Radio City Music Hall. It was honestly a blast to stay up all night and just talk shit with other football fans in the middle of the off season. After the first pick we didn’t really have anything to do, but it was a cool enough experience to do it again the next year. This time the Dolphins had a good season and a low draft pick… We also had started a fan club and instead of a few of us it was a couple dozen of us and the pre Draft smack talk became even more fun and it became a great way to tell other Dolphins fans about our fan club, Dolfans NYC.

Eventually the Draft left NYC and I took a few years off before the Dolphins invited us to be part of the “Inner Circle” in Dallas which is a small section of fans that represent each team in front of the Draft stage. Dolfans NYC has become the biggest Dolphins fan club on the planet so it has given me some cool opportunities around the Dolphins world. It was a very cool experience to be up front and center after years of us sitting in the upper decks of Radio City. I also got to make it rain on our first round draft pick. The next year I got asked to be part of the Inner Circle again, and this time it was in Vegas so of course I accepted, but unfortunately Covid ruined that trip. I still got to sort of be part of it because they had a bunch of fans on TV behind Roger Goodell as he made the pick. 

A year later I got the email from the Dolphins again. The Inner Circle was still an option but only 12 fans per team were allowed to be part of it and they had to be vaccinated by two weeks before the Draft. They told us it was first come, first serve. Fortunately I happened to be holding my hand in at the time and emailed the team back immediately and a few weeks later I was headed to Cleveland of all places. 

I spent three days in the city most celebrated for not being Detroit and attended two days of the Draft. I only took pictures on the first day because I figured I got enough stuff and I was sick of dragging my camera around in the clear plastic bag that is required for attending NFL events (Thanks Boston bomber) but I did make it to almost all of the second day as well. It gets pretty damn boring after the first round, but we had two picks in the second and one in the third so day 2 wasn’t too bad. Plus my favorite band whose entire catalogue sounds like a car commercial, Kings of Leon, played an entire set for some reason. I thought they were gonna play like two songs, but they played 8 or 9 and I thought I was going to lose my mind before the second round of the Draft even started. 

On the first day we got a little music as well from Ann Wilson of Heart who kinda crushed the National Anthem, but the first day was all about something else, a comfy chair. Last year’s Covid Draft was a hit because you got to see players, coaches and GMs in their homes with their families and pets and inexplicably the NFL took from that commissioner Roger Goodell’s chair. They shipped his living room chair to Cleveland and had on fan sit on it for each pick. They just brought up a fan and they got to sit in it on stage. When it happened I started getting Tweets from friends who were joking about me getting to sit in the chair, but when the Dolphins selected with the 6th pick a guy sitting two rows behind me got the nod. I didn’t expect to get the chair but as I started looking around I realized I might actually get a chance. 

Of the 12 Dolphins fans in the Inner Circle there were 4 fans who either were not dressed up in Dolphins gear or strangely enough were not Dolphins fans. There were also four fans who were just in standard Dolphins jerseys and another guy who had already been picked. I realized I probably had a 1:3 chance of going up and one of those three was wearing a “JETS SUCK BILLS SWALLOW” hat so I figured they probably wouldn’t put him on TV (I was wrong, he ended up in the chair on day 2). A couple picks before the Dolphins second pick (still the first round) I got a nod from a producer who asked me if I wanted to sit in the chair. Normally this wouldn’t be something I would be super interested in, but I was at the Draft to promote Dolfans NYC so I was all about it. I shoot hands with Goodell and he put me in the chair and I tried to just be as chill as humanly possible because there were a lot of people and a lot of cameras looking at me. Another person from the NFL came up to me and told me that I would be handed a jersey after the pick and I should walk over to Goodell and hold it up. When Goodell walked out again to announce the pick he showed it to me and then asked me if I liked the pick. I nodded, he read off the name and I held up the jersey. Not super exciting, but for some reason Slate interviewed me about it which was real hilarious. 

Anyway, I was on TV a couple of times on top of the chair thing and I got a lot of texts and DMs and the whole thing was funny enough for me to devote 1000 words to this post, but I think it’s time we all moved on with our lives and looked at some photos. I love documenting any fandom, no matter what it is. As long as people are passionate about something, I want to photograph it, but when it’s something I am also weirdly into it’s even better.

I have been back from my West Coast trip for a few days now and I am finally getting my shit together to bring you new content. On my 10 day trip I did 12 full shoots, plus I shot a dozen rolls of film which include some other mini shoots like my friend Selina who wanted me to take a photo of her topless in front of a Scientology building in LA which I was happy to oblige. It was a very productive trip, but the only problem with it was that of the 12 shoots I did, only two of them were with people I have never photographed before, on the plus side I got to photograph some of my favorite humans on this trip, but I was hoping to shoot a few more new people, but sadly those shoots didn’t work out. 

One of the shoots that did work out was Kittycamtime (AKA Fetish Kitten who we will now refer to as Kitten because that seems way easier than typing Kittycamtime over and over again), a cam girl I met at AVN last year. I actually met her in a very cool way. I was eating food with a friend when she walked by and I told the girl I was eating with that I thought Kitten looked really cool. Later they met at a party and she told Kitten that I thought she looked really cool and she immediately DMed me about shooting while we were in Vegas. We met briefly but the shoot didn’t happen, but she was planning on coming to NYC soon so we would do it in a couple of months, and then that whole Covid thing happened so we had to wait a year, but we finally made it happen.

I spent my first day in LA hanging out with Carter Cruise because she lives right by the airport, but my second shoot was at Kitten’s place. She was about to move out but for now she lives in a rad house with a pool and I am glad I got to take advantage of the very LA vibes of the place. She was super tired and once she got naked, super cold, so we didn’t shoot a ton, but I think we got some really nice stuff anyway. I think I took some more 35mm stuff of her inside too but honestly I don’t remember but I will find out soon. What I do remember is that she needed food so we went to a Trader Joe’s that happened to be right near a pet store so I got to go look at fish which as you probably know by now is my weird midlife crisis. It was very exciting. 

Okay, it’s time to plug all the things. While I was in LA I posted a BTS video from the shoot on my OnlyFans and just yesterday I posted a longer fairly explicit video of her on there as well. The video is also on Girls of DBB but it costs $10 there because their video upload system is broken and I can’t change the price so you should just sign up for OnlyFans because it’s only $5 a month. Okay that’s enough promotion. Next stop on my “I get to leave NYC finally” tour is Cleveland where I am going to the NFL Draft. Each NFL team is allowed 12 fans in their “Inner Circle” and I am one of them for some reason so look for me on TV when the Dolphins pick if you happen to watch that. Before we get to the photos I have for you today I wanna talk about the next couple weeks. This is the last update I do before I go to LA on Monday (and then Vegas after that for a couple days). It’s my first time getting on a plane since January 2020. I am pretty much out of content so I am so thankful to be vaccinated and able to start really shooting again. I don’t have a ton of stuff locked down yet but I got 10 days on the West Coast and I will be disappointed if I photograph less than 10 people. 

In celebration of getting new content my OnlyFans is on sale for just $4 a month until I get back. I have published nearly 300 videos on there and all of them are free. Most of them are short clips that I pulled from my Snapchat back when I used that, but there are some longer videos too and a lot more longer stuff will be coming now that I can travel again. I update 6 times a week including today, which is what brings us to my old friend Apathy Angel.

I would link to the last time I photographed Apathy but the pictures are so old that the gallery probably doesn’t even work. I have known her since probably 2007 which is pretty crazy. We spent so much time together in nightclubs when she was a go-go dancer. I can’t tell you how many times a group of us would eat at some diner at 5am after working Webster Hall or something.  I recently noticed that she had an OnlyFans and I hit her up about shooting again for old times and to do a content trade for our OFs. 

So about a week ago I got an Oculus Quest VR system and I was messing with it with this rad lady I have been hanging out with and I took a couple photos of her playing it because it was really funny and she was in her underwear so that was cool. Anyway, I have seen some pretty entertaining videos of people playing VR and getting freaked out by it and I realized that this is ideal content so I asked Apathy if she wanted to be my test subject for it and she was down. We filmed a bunch of videos of her playing VR topless and it was pretty great. I can’t wait to do more of these. The first of the videos is up now on my OnlyFans and I think she posted some too. 

Anyway, after we did the VR stuff, we walked around her neighborhood in Queens and we took a bunch of photos along the way. None of these have nudity but there are some really fun ones and her top is kinda sheer and her butt is in a few of them so like, don’t give us too hard of a time. You can also see these photos in high res only on Girls of DBB as always. 

Okay, I think that’s it. I will try and do at least one update from LA/Vegas but if I don’t come back for a minute, my bad. I also should mention that my first photo NFT drop is still coming (get the first DBB NFT here). I just didn’t get my shit together in time to do it right before I left.

Given that Kirra is the person I have probably photographed most in my life it’s pretty funny that this is only the second full solo shoot I have ever posted of her… I’ve published three shoots of Chloe Amour and we only took photos one day. But yeah, I have some new photos of one of my favorite models of all time and I have been saving them for a while because I really dig some of the shots we got. It’s actually the last shoot I have left from 2020 and honestly I don’t really have much left, but I leave for a photo gathering trip in less than two weeks so I am hoping I can figure out one or two more things to post for you guys before I leave… 

Anyway, this is the third shoot from a 24 hour road trip to Sparrow House that I did back in the late summer when Covid cases were really low. I wanted to go up to visit my friends upstate but I was gonna have to rent a car so I figured if I was going to spend money I should get some content out of it so I hit up Kirra to see if she wanted to come and she was totally down and invited her friend and model Nina Burns with her. It was great and even though we were only there for a while I ended up getting a ton of pretty stuff including two shoots I already published, Nina by herself, and Kirra and Nina together in a giant claw foot bathtub. 

This shoot is actually more than one shoot. It starts with photos we shot on some train tracks in a pretty sheer outfit and then some more NSFW stuff inside my favorite room in Sparrow House. The inside stuff is super pretty. I also shot some photos from outside of the house of her sort of hanging out the window. It looks scarier than it was because she was sitting on the bed which was pushed up against the window but it was still vaguely terrifying for me. But she was very excited about the shot and I couldn’t say no to that. 

There are actually a few more shots from this shoot, two of her holding a chicken and two more of her on a rope swing that I thought were in the Nina/Kirra shoot but weren’t and so I threw them in last minute, but they are only on Girls of DBB. Usually when I put stuff exclusively on Girls of DBB it’s because it’s extra NSFW or something, but these are actually fairly tame shots but there is a live chicken involved and all the shots are in high res and there’s a lot of other Kirra content on there so like, get involved.

I should also plug my OnlyFans because there are a bunch of videos from the Sparrow House trip on there. Yesterday I posted a couple clips of her hanging out the window and as soon as I hit send on this post I am gonna upload a high res quality (ie. not from my iphone) video from the shoot. But even before this week I posted stuff of Nina and Kirra in the bathtub and some other footage. Honestly I need to see what I have posted and what I have left because there might be even more stuff I need to post in the future. (Update: There is.) Plus like, there will be new Kirra content on there always because I like I mentioned she is one of my favorite people to shoot. Did I mention I post six times a day and it’s only $5 a month?

2020 was a fucking disaster and I am pretty sure we don’t need to go into all of that but I like to organize all my photos and pull selects every year so that I can make it easier to find stuff in the future and these throwback posts are a good way to go over some highlights and link to my favorite shoots of the year and 2020 is no exception. 

When I first picked up a camera when I was 15 for a photo class I didn’t really care about it so I only took photos for class and I think I got a C in it. A year later I took photo 2 and I started shooting punk shows and protests and got hooked on photography and it changed my life forever. I never really put down a camera after that… until 2020.

2020 was already slow for me. My roommate died at the end of November and December and most of January were spent just dealing with that shit until I went on my yearly AVN trip. I shot a lot of photos there but between the start of the pandemic last March up until the Black Lives Matter protests that rocked the country at the end of May I took almost no photos at all. I had this very weird mix of feelings. I felt this responsibility to my elderly neighbors and my community to stay inside, but I also felt this massive guilt for not being out in the streets documenting the end of the world as we knew it. For months I pretty much only left the house for essential stuff and I would bring my camera with me whenever I left the house but I didn’t shoot a lot. I tried to document the grafiti and the signage and capture some of the moment (see my zine Sign of the Times) but I didn’t do nearly enough to make me feel productive.

After George Floyd was murdered I felt like I had to hit the streets. This was too important not to be apart of and a video I captured of horrible police violence ended up going viral and being purchased by the NY Times, NY Post and Full Frontal With Samantha Bee. Ironically this awful moment ended up being the only paid work I did for most of 2020. I went to a bunch of protests over the summer and documented most of them, but I am embarrassed to admit that I eventually stopped going as the protests started getting smaller and smaller. I did hit the streets again a few months later when TV networks called the presidential race for Biden. It was one of the few highlights of a disastrous year.

I did do some shoots during the pandemic, including this socially distanced shoot, but the vast majority of the stuff I shot in 2020 happened on a less than two week trip in January to LA and Las Vegas when I went out to shoot the AVN Week madness. Heading home from Vegas from that trip was actually the last time I got on a plane after canceling trips to SXSW, the NFL Draft and two tattoo conventions I was supposed to shoot for Monster.

A year ago I shot Carmen when she visited NYC and Phoenix Marie literally the day before lockdown in NYC and over the summer when cases were low I did a day road trip with Nina and Kirra which ended up with some great shots (that you still haven’t seen all of), I did a weird late night shoot with Alex F and of course this shoot with the very flexible Amanda Whip. As far as the LA/Vegas stuff some highlights include the Aiden & Leda photos, my latest shoot with Carter and the super quick shoot I did with Alex Grey right before I came back to NYC forever. 

Right before the world ended I had booked a bunch of the work I mentioned earlier and I bought some bitcoin when it crashed right before the pandemic. I regretted it when I lost the jobs and it took me way too long to get unemployment, but I survived thanks to you guys. I started my OnlyFans and you guys bought my books and zines and had Girls of Driven By Boredom already going (I uploaded a NSFW “Best of” gallery including a bunch of shots not in this gallery). I had someone who supports my work just send me some cash and told me I could pay him in photos later. That shit meant so much to me. 

But things are looking up. That bitcoin I regretted buying is now worth more than 10 times what I paid for it. My unemployment is still going strong while my bills have pretty much decreased to just food, shelter and the cost to host this damn website. I paid off my credit card, got my first vaccine shot, I am finally headed back to LA and Vegas to shoot next month, and amazingly my NFT test run did really well. (I did manage to spent all that money on other people’s NFTs but I got some new stuff coming.) I still haven’t shot much in 2021, but my guess is the last 9 months of this year I am gonna be shooting a lot more than the first three  and I can’t fucking wait wait.

Thank you guys for everything and I hope that all of our 2021s are so much fucking better than 2020.

Over a year ago one of my favorite humans, Carter Cruise, was DJing a party in Vegas. It was not an AVN party but it was the same week as the AVNs so she was around and brought her friend Natalie. We all hung out a bunch and Natalie and I hit it off and we planned a shoot while we were all still in town and it was great. 

Since then, the world has obviously changed a ton and during the pandemic Natalie and Carter seemed to be living the best life because they have a pool and live with another hot friend and they started a clothing line together (which I will plug in a minute) and I just wish I was quarantining with them and just taking all the photos of them for the internets. 

Anyway, I planned on posting these photos a long time ago but there was that whole pandemic thing happening and Natalie decided if she had to find a new job when the world collapsed then maybe she didn’t want her nudes floating around out there, but good news is that her job is secure and presumably psyched about her nudes because she told me I could post them and I am 100% sure you guys are going to love that life decision because she is unreasonably pretty. (She also has an absolutely incredible laugh.)

Because of this delay, these photos have already been on Girls of DBB for months (she was cool with them being paywalled) but now you get to look at them for free… (at least some of them, I posted a ton of the 35mm photos on Girls of DBB too which you don’t get because I want your money).  And now that my plug is out of the way, it’s of course time to plug Carter and Natalie’s clothing line After Dark LA. I have already taken some photo of babes in them (check my Instagram) and I still have another shirt to shoot someone in soon and I will keep supporting their stuff because they are both amazing.

I can’t wait to visit Carter & Natalie soon cause I just got my first vaccine shot (thanks dangerously high blood pressure!) and as soon as this sweet Pfizer juice kicks in I am headed to LA so I can hang out in their pool and take their photo and probably some other stuff I can’t think about right now. It’s gonna be great. Honestly, just leaving Brooklyn would be a nice start, but I owe you guys some new photos.

Speaking of, next post on my website is gonna be the “Best” of 2020 post and then I only really have one nude shoot left and I am out of photos. I should probably get to fucking work huh? Soon!

Many months ago when Covid numbers were super low in NYC I went up to see some friends upstate at their rental property turned quarantine home Sparrow House. I knew there were a ton of great places for photos so I hit up my friend Kirra who is probably the human I have photographed the most in my life about coming with me for a one day road trip. She was down and suggested she bring her friend Nina Burns who was in her Covid bubble and has just happens to have incredible eyeballs. It ended up being a great day trip and very productive which was ideal because I haven’t really taken any photos since the protests this summer which makes me feel like trash.

Good news is my new sedentary lifestyle combined with my horrific diet means I was able to get a vaccine appointment, bad news is I will probably die of a heart attack by the time I am 50. Whatever the case is that as soon as I get fully vaccinated I am going to LA and maybe Vegas to shoot a ton of content so I can get back into updating this website more than once every two weeks. I am still gonna be wearing masks on shoots and being as safe as possible anyway, but I am gonna be traveling and shooting more.  Anyway, sorry for the tangent, back to Nina.

So yeah, when we got to Sparrow House it was already dark so the only photos we took were Kirra and Nina in a sick claw footed bathtub which I have already posted and you should go look at immediately if you haven’t seen them. The next day we took a bunch of photos outside. I shot Kirra in the house and by the train tracks and shot them both down by the river. I also climbed up this incredibly steep hill covered in all manor of shrubbery to take these photos of Nina that I am posting today. We got covered in burrs and scratched by thorns so please enjoy these photos!

I realize this post is rambling, as per usual, but I just wanted to let you know that I still have Kirra’s photo from this Sparrow House trip to come and since we took these I photographed Nina again but honestly the photos aren’t that great because instead of taking photos we watched the actual insurrection that was playing out on live TV as we attempted to take photos and it got a little dark to shoot with natural light. Don’t get me wrong Nina is still real hot and we still got some nice shots, but not sure when I am gonna get around to posting them. Hopefully I will get to shoot Nina again in settings as incredible as Sparrow House instead of in a slightly too dark room as American Democracy was crumbling before us. Okay it’s photo time.

The first time I photographed Amanda Whip it was so long ago that the original post doesn’t even seem to be on my website. The gallery is part of my old, barely functional gallery system and I think the camera I was using was my first Nikon digital camera which mean it’s gotta be before early 2009. We shot it in a nightclub bathroom but honestly I am not even sure which one. I thought in my brain that it was Darkroom but it might be Annex or Happy Ending? I am positive I could figure it out if I really wanted to but that would require effort and you guys don’t care so let’s move on. 

Amanda and I talked forever about shooting again. She never wanted to come to Brooklyn and I would see her once in a while and we would talk about it and then never actually do it. Shortly before the pandemic started I ran into her on the street in her neighborhood and we caught up for a second. I hadn’t seen her in years and once again we talked about taking photos. And then a pandemic happened.

Amanda is a burlesque and aerial performer and she does all sorts of crazy flexible things in her underwear and it is very impressive and amazing but very hard to make money at when people aren’t allowed in clubs anymore. She’s very comfortable being a hot person in real life, but hates the internet so her transition to hot person on the internet was slow at first. Fortunately she started forcing herself to use Twitter more and we started talking on there again and finally actually planned to do a shoot to promote both of our OnlyFans that we both started during the pandemic. We shot a ton of photos that you are about to see, but we also shot a bunch of video that you can see on my OnlyFans if you search for Amanda. I even put another video up today, and I think I still might have a couple clips left. You should also sign up for Amanda’s OnlyFans because she is great. 

While we are promoting things I should also mention that these photos have been up already for two day on Girls of DBB. There are even some close up photos of Amanda’s butt up there because I needed some reason to convince you to sign up right?
