Okay, before we get started with this update to NSFW Week, I am sure some of you are wondering where the fuck the Cain photos are from Wednesday.  I am having severe issues with all three of my computers and it is driving me fucking nuts.  If anyone has a PC keyboard they want to give me, it only has to moderately work.  I only use it for image editing, I don’t need to type shit.  Anyway, the Cain photos will be up tonight, but like 5AM tonight.  Then Trash photos tomorrow and another naked girl.  Then the last naked girl Monday and then we start getting the rest of the Sundance shit up.  So now that you are updated, let’s move on to naked girls.

This is Avery Heart.  She’s a Vegas local I met at the AVN Weekend.  I asked her if I could take her photo on the floor of the AEE and she asked me to hold her purse while she posed. As soon as I started shooting 10 other photographers ran over and started shooting, then video cameras and this whole mad scene.  After I took my two shots I just stood there for 15 minutes holding her bag.  She felt pretty bad about this and offered to do a private photo shoot.  Unfortunately by the time we left the expo and got back to my hotel she was running late for something.  So we shot these in like 5 minutes and I shot them at some insanely high ISO and they kinda don’t look great.  But content is king, and you guys probably like cute naked girls more than you like my photography work, so check out these mediocre photos of the pretty adorable Avry Heart.

Okay. I am back.  Well, not this second, but very soon.  Tomorrow I hope.  Maybe the next day.  Let’s just see how it goes.  I am in Philly.  After non stop work for 2 weeks,  hanging out in DC in Philly as been nice.  I haven’t done anything and I was just hanging out.  I spent last night at my friend Doug’s movie theater/venue getting in the way of people working the concession stand for a goth show or something going on.  There was Vampire candy from Denmark that tasted like blood and madness all around.  I can’t even explain it, but I will say that when I got back to my car, there was a man sleeping in it.

I repeat, when I got to my car, there was a man sleeping in it.  Evidently after I put my computer in the trunk of my car, I forgot to lock it.  There was a severely drunk man in my car.  Not a hobo or anything, just a really drunk dude in his late 20’s.  His back was on the steering wheel and his legs were up in the air on the front seat.  I opened the door and said “Hi there, wanna please get out of my car? Oh, and what are you doing in my car?”  He just looked up and went back to sleep.  So I took a photo of him.  Then I asked him again “Seriously sir, I think it is time you got out of my car.”  I thought it was the best thing ever.  It was so damned funny.  My friend Nicole on the other hand has a spicy Latin temper and did not let him get away so easily.  “GET THE FUCK OUT OF HIS CAR NOW ASSHOLE!” she yelled.  It was pretty amazing.  Without saying a word, the very confused, very inebriated man slowly stumbled out of my car and straight up the street.  After a few minutes we left and passed him a half mile down the road still stumbling down the road.

Today I spent the day watching TV with friends.  It was nice.  I don’t really have friends like that in NYC that I can just hang out and watch TV with.

Anyway, presumably at some point I am going to make my way back to NYC tomorrow.   I might not make it, but I might.  Either way, I will be back in NYC soon and while it will probably take me a few days to get caught up with life, pay bills, pack, get my mail, develop film, organize things etc I will be updating daily with n00dz from my trip.  On top of that I will be shooting a photobooth at Cain on Wednesday and hosting Trash on Friday.  Get ready for magic.  This weekend I might have some big news, but it is still in discussions.  Okay, I took a sleeping pill 20 min ago and I need to crash.  Get ready for party time NYC style ASAP.

I am kinda sick, and have had a rough couple of days.  My Sundance plans are all but ruined.  There is only about 4% chance that I make it to Park City at this point.  My rental car ended up costing way more than I thought it would and the desert air is brutal on my skin and newly chapped lips.  I am super busy and exhausted and have not shot anything TOO exciting.  A few boobs, Kid Rock and the guy is on the HBO show about a whore house.  I have a long drive to LA tomorrow and I am not sure when I will have internet, but hopefully I will get some shots up sooner rather than later.  I gotta go out now.  Hopefully something nuts will happen tonight.  You never know… Oh, did I mention my shitty hotel room that smells like cigarettes and makes me cough ever 5 seconds and because of it I lost my voice?  Oh yeah, that is awesome.  Grrr…

So yesterday was total bullshit.  I waited for an hour in a line for the second day at a row at the post office to be once again told that they couldn’t find my package.  Then my insurance company decided not to cover my sleeping pills for some reason this month.  And then I went to Cain and right as I was about to leave this drunk girl told me I was her boyfriend and started making out with me.  When I told her I had to leave she got kinda annoyed.  I turned to my friend and kissed her on the cheek goodbye and the girl fucking lost her shit and started screaming at me.  She slapped me like 4 times.  I sort of thought she was joking and kept telling her it was nice to meet her, but she just kept yelling about how she was going to ruin me and how much hotter she was than that girl and how she was going to smash my camera and bring a law suit against me.  When I turned to leave she stuck her finger in my ear.  I also took a nap yesterday, evidently in the middle of eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because I woke up with jelly all over my pillow.  Fucking classic.

Anyway, I am leaving town on this crazy trip in a few hours and I need to sleep, so dig on these photos from Cain last night and try not to mind the lack of updates over the next while.  I might not post as often, but the posts should be fucking awesome.  There are a lot of hot girls in Vegas and LA.  Sundance should be cool too.  Okay.  See you soon.  I’ll be updating Twitter often.  Follow me. Okay.  Back in business.  Play time is over.  I was super productive today and tomorrow I will be too.  I have 5 updates starting now to go up and that are basically ready to go up.  I have all these photos tonight, then two sets from New Years tomorrow, followed by photos from Trash to go up Sunday and then some other stuff in betwixt.  Today I got a lot of shit done, but you just don’t know it yet.  New Years was exhausting, I spent New Years Day in bed, but today was productive and tomorrow will be and then Sunday is the playoffs and I will either be too busy celebrating or too busy crying to deal with reality so don’t expect much Sunday.  But between Monday and Thursday I need to get a lot of shit done to prepare for my west coast trip.  And then once I get back from Vegas/LA I have two weeks to do nothing but work on this site before I really need to start looking for a job.  Let’s start cooking.

Okay, on to Tuesdays photos.

Tuesday was a long night.  I went to see Frost/Nixon and then I went to see some stand up comedy.  My friend and favorite comic Pete Holmes was headlining Seth Herzog’s show Sweet and since I don’t have a job anymore I needed to hit that up.   Also at the show was the Mac guy, Justin Long who I had a long conversation with at Sweet about two years ago.  I had just moved to NYC and was working as a bus boy and was not taking photos or doing anything and he and I had a long conversation about life and our brothers and what the hell I was going to do with my life.  Little did I know that he was making Die Hard 4 at the time.  Anyway, I said hi to him, and I am not sure that he actually remembered our conversation but he was unreasonably nice about it and certainly pretended to remember if nothing else.  The guy just sat there for an hour after the show talking to every single person who came up to them like they were his close friend.  It is people like that you are happy to see succeed.  So go see his new film He’s Just Not That Into You.  It doesn’t really look like something that I would really want to see, but it has Eric from Entourage, and the blonde girl from Ghost World, and the chick from Office Space and that dude from Chasing Amy and that little girl from ET.

After comedy I went to Happy Endings.  It was insanely packed and a lot of fun.  My flash was giving me some troubles and at first was underexposing everything, and then it was not working with my auto focus, so for pretty much the first time ever I took it off my camera and held it in my hand.  I hate doing this because I like having two hands free, but it got some pretty cool results.  I was triggering it with the on camera flash and that led to some pretty awful photos and some pretty cool ones.  You are just going to have to check that out for your self.  I will post some of the more interesting ones below.

Around 3 or so this girl I hung out with on Monday came into town for her birthday and I met up with her at some bar in Times Square.  I am not sure why they were afraid to leave Port Authority but I met them at this really empty dive bar on 9th and 42nd.  That was super weird.  She was hanging out with the lead singer of Reel Big Fish.  I sort of was amazed by this, because I had not heard a song from them in 11 years, but I am pretty sure I just sounded like a dick when I was talking to him about it, but I did take a really nice picture of him and his girlfriend so maybe he will forgive me.  Anyway, it was a super weird night and took me like an hour to get home from Times Square at 430 in the morning, but what can you do.

There are a lot of photos below because there are three different places here, and I was experimenting with my flash so I want to show  you some of that stuff.   There is a little bit of nip slip stuff going on here thanks to the 50 photos of Alex Magnetic I took so be careful at work.  And lastly, I interviewed another intern.  You will be hearing more about him soon, his name is Michael and here is a picture of him.

The good news is that I am going to be shooting more and spending more time on this site.  The bad news is that the reason I am going to be shooting more and spending more time on this site is because I got laid off today.  Oh Joy.  I used to scan books for Archive.org but they cut the night shift so I am back to being a professional photographer.  At least until I run out of money again.  I am going to extend my trip to LA now.  So if you live in LA and you to hire me or get naked for me, please let me know.  I will be there from the 11th of Jan until I get bored or run out of places to stay. Anyway, tomorrow I am going to DC for two days, Richmond for a day to work on the lead singer of the Gaskets solo album and then I am coming back to NYC on the 28th to watch my Dolphins kick the shit out of the Jests.  On the 30th I have a meeting with the guy who designed my site about a redesign and I am going to be working on some new projects.  Things could be exiting.  But I am also looking for work, preferably flexible part time.  If anyone has any ideas let me know.

How sad is this?

Just two things of site news for you. It’s pretty exciting stuff.

1. I want to introduce you to my new web intern Tristan. She is in a band called Five Star Affair and also plays in Shiragirl. She does a lot of the web promotions for her bands and she is soon to be taking over the DBB myspace and she has also built me a Facebook group. You should join that group…. And tell your friends about it. That way you can be hip to the occasional event or amazing things happening on this site. Or you can just plug your own shit on there. Whatever works, just JOIN IT.

2. I send out pretty legendary X-Mas cards every year. This Christmas is going to be a little bit disappointing in that regard. I didn’t have the time this year to make new ones. However, I have a hand full of cards left over from last year, so if you DIDN’T get one last year, and you promise to keep it on your fridge all year long I will send you one. But send me your address (igor[at]drivenbyboredom.com) ASAP because I don’t know how many I have. Also, the card is slightly NSFW so if you live with your parents or something, you might not want to get one. It is not in an envelope.

Due to crippling depression stemming from the New England Patriots beating my Miami Dolphins I have not had it in me to update.  I must offer my apologies for that, and tell you that blogs will be coming soon.  I will be back in VA for a few days and I am sure I will have some time to get some oh-so-fun blogs up.  In the mean time, here is a video of Sean Connery talking about slapping women and my favorite scene in any James Bond movie ever, which the finding of led to finding the completely insane Connery interview.

I just got back from Miami where I watched my Dolphins beat the Seattle Seahawks in most dramatic of fashions.  Then I hung out with a bunch of drunk Newfies and got a few hours of sleep on their hotel room floor in order to save me the $200 I was going to spend on a room.  You see, another trip to Miami has resulted in another broken camera lens so I decided I could not afford to stay another night in the hotel.  I will go into further details about that disaster when I post the extremely hot photos I as taking when said disaster occurred.  It may be a while on those though… In the mean time I have some sexy photos from last week and the Miami Dolphins related photos you probably will be less than excited about.  I only got a few restless hours of sleep last night and I had a lay over (of in all places Richmond) and I need to catch up on some shit.  I don’t have much time over the next few days, but let’s see how things work out.
