My old friend Colin is sick. A few months ago he found out he had a stage 4 inoperable brain tumor. That is not good. His only chance now is to fight it with chemo and hope for a miracle. Colin, despite not hiring me at Starbucks many years ago, is a rad fucking dude. I have spent a lot of weird and hilarious times with him. I think the last time I saw him I watched the election results come in with him and his girlfriend Christine. I do not want him to die. You do not want him to die. He needs help. He now has website that is documenting his treatment. The goal is both awareness and fund raising. Chemo is not cheap. Not being able to work because you are too week to stand up is not cheap. Colin is selling “Terminate The Tumor” bracelets in the style of the Livestrong bands. Now while Colin has never won the Tour De France, I also don’t think he has taken steroids before, and I have watched him put a cigarette out on his arm which seems just as impressive.

I bought a bracelet but I am as broke as I have ever been in my life and I live 6 hours away so I am not in any position to help him, but I can link his website and ask my friends and fans to buy a bracelet or donate some money or at the very least, retweet this post (click the button in the upper left hand corner of this post), link his site or just tell your friends about it. Anything you can do would mean a lot to me, to Colin and to all his family and friends.

And since half you people just come here to see boobs, maybe I can help you out too. Years ago Colin and my friend Raechel were in some weird scavenger hunt thing and it had a bonus round. The bonus round was to make a tape of just weird fucked up shit with extra points for nudity and violence. We happened to have found a wire grill cleaning brush that happened to make for great entertainment. If you wacked someone with it, not only did it hurt like hell but it instantly started bleeding in a very amusing pattern. We thought that hitting each other with this could garner some points… and even more points if Rae’s giant boobs were some how involved. I never got around to doing anything with the video, but when I heard about Colin I figured this was the perfect reason to get it up, and use the traffic it gained to help murder the bullshit growing in my man’s head.

Dan Baxter is back again with one of his night life videos. This video was all shot at Trash at Webster Hall. It features music by Trash’s DJ Jess who has teamed up with Bastard to form Carpe PM. It’s also a remix of DBB friends Semi Precious Weapons. On top of all that it includes some naked girls and a lot of footage of me when I still had long hair. Clearly it’s not to be missed. I mean, I am pretty damn sexy. Not Safe For Work.

So things have been a bit slow around here with me being a little sick and trying to get caught up with all my back logged photo updates. • I was recently wondering aloud about how the type of person who can’t figure out how to use a condom is the person who can least afford to have kids. Luckily these easy to use condoms have been invented for complete morons. The testimonials are hilarious.
• I was lamenting about how my favorite horror franchise, Nightmare On Elm St., is being remade by Michael Bay and a music video director. At least it can’t be as bad as Freddy 6…. I hope.

• I was giving mediocre CNN pundit Roland Martin props for his takedown of flag waving GOP members who rejoiced when Chicago lost it’s 2016 Olympic bid.

• I linked to a video of a nearly naked hipster dancing around Williamsburg before the Grizzly Bear Pool Party show. I didn’t see him, did you?

• I got a 19 out of 20 on this Helvetica quiz. I guess it pays to have nothing but graphic designer friends. If by payment you mean having way to much information on overused type faces stuck in your head for no reason.

• I never liked butterfly tattoos or tramp stamps until I saw this butterfly tramp stamp. Now I need one of my own! Who wants to get matching ones with me? NSFW.

Well at least for the moment my gallery software seems to be working properly. I have a feeling there are going to be more problems when I try to get up the photos I took on Tuesday. The main thing I need in life is to figure out a new solution for my photo galleries. Jalbum was just not built for a site as big as mine. If nothing else I need a better template so it at least looks slightly like my site. I get tons of traffic to the site galleries, but probably very rarely does that traffic come back to the main site.

Anyway, the Dolphins gallery and the two Yes Men posts now link to the correct gallery pages instead of Flickr. I also will be getting up a bunch of stuff from the last few days in the next few days. I am hopeful to get two more posts up today, but I might take a nap instead. Let’s see what happens.

I wanted to say that the two day break away from Driven By Boredom allowed me to get some stuff done that I had been putting off forever, and I did a pretty sexy photo shoot yesterday. I got a second opinion on my knee and I am going to have to get surgery soon. I also resigned my lease and have a new roommate moving in on Monday. I am not sure you care about any of that, but it is what it is. I will get some photos up tonight, at very minimum the pictures from Trash last friday. Listen, I spent like 5 hours wasting my life watching Matt Zaller interview celebrities. I seriously watched 60 of them until like 8am. Americans Observing 9/11 By Trying Not To Masturbate

A few weeks ago I was at Happy Endings for 66Sick and Disco Down and I was standing outside and all of a sudden this guy started screaming.  He didn’t get in the club for some reason.  Happy Endings is not an exclusive place so he either didn’t have his ID or was acting like a drunk asshole.  He went on a 3 minute rant before I realized I needed to pull out my camera.  His tirade was probably the funniest thine I have seen in a year.  He was screaming about how: A) He had been busting his ass for 26 years in the Lower East Side B) He had the number 1, 4 or 5 hit on La Mega or in Philadelphia C) HE HAS A COLLEGE DEGREE! In PR and marketing. When he started talking about his college degree I almost started crying laughing.  Just watch the damn video. Here is another Youtubes update. You know, one of those posts where I post a few videos I have found over the last week, write two sentences about them and then go on with my day because I spent last night watching the State on DVD instead of taking photos of you and your friends getting drunk. Speaking of the State the first video is of the Monkey Torture episode of the State. I completely forgot about it and how funny I thought it was 15 years ago. Monkey Torture and the Muppet Hunting sketch are probably my two favorite sketches that don’t involve Doug or the Old Fashioned guy who evidently was scrapped after the first season. Next up we have a video Roxy Cottontail shot of the Ninjasonik show the other night. I am featured in it a lot shooting photos on stage. It makes me truly appreciate how bad my posture is. It is really horrifying. Anyway, other than the radness of this clip, around the 3:09 mark you just see me disappear. It is at that moment when my knee completely gave out on me for no reason. I think it is okay now, but it still feels week sometimes and twinges if I bend it weird. Anyway, this video clip is a mix of Ninjasonik’s cover of Attitude by Bad Brains, Tight Pants and their Death Set Negative Thinking About Tight Pants mashup. It looks like a lot of fun, because it was.
